James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer

The James Whale fund is a leading kidney cancer charity started by radio and television present James Whale. It seeks to help reduce the harm caused by kidney cancer by increasing knowledge and awareness, providing patient information and by supporting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease.

Working with design partner Fonda, we developed their website based on our content management system.

The site features a very simple online shop using a third party tool called Roman Cart, which is very easy to set up and ideal for situations where more complex functionality like a multi-item shopping basket is not required.

It also includes donation facility which uses PayPal to process payments.

The sit is also linked to the Kindey Cancer Support Network's Patient Forum - a discussion board based site also set up by Textor and Fonda.
